The only down sides that I have found are that since they are the around the ear type they take up some room in the carry-on, especially if you have three kids like me. But they love them and so do I, the sound quality is great and they have so far lasted quite well - we've had them over a year now. These are great for little kids since they are pretty sturdy and fit nicely around their ears (not in). Also, I find that the cord is pretty long - my girls have PSPs to watch movies and listen to music on, the cord is really long for something they are holding in their hands.
Great kid headphones. They were so big on him that they would always slip off. He loves playing on the computer, but the noise interfered with other activities in the room, so he would use the regular headphones. He uses them all the time. I loved these headphones. My grandson is 7. These are the perfect size.
I purchased these headphones for my 2-year-old son to use while traveling via airplane, and like a previous reviewer, I found that the ambient noise of the airplane drowned out the sound of the DVD player at normal listening levels forcing me to turn the volume up (a lot) in order to hear it. I am now searching for better noise cancelling headphones for our next airplane trip.
They were great, seemed comfortable and fit really well on their little noggins. We bought two sets of these to use with a dual screen DVD player we recently purchased to keep our kids occupied during a trip to the beach. Actually, they're adjustable and they even fit me.
My son uses it with ipod videos and portable dvd player. Its seems they are not breakable (unless someone wants to cut it with a sharp tool :) and are light weight. Very good quality. Great Headphones for the children. I bought it for my 2 year old son for a long flight trip and he loves it. He knows that these are his headphones and so, they are very special.
